This is our first post. We only manage to snap a few photos, which luckily our dear Fran remind us to do so.
This blog is specially dedicate to 1. Francisca since she's very keen to know how our house look like before & after. Also, 2. those that like to ask questions during our house warming such as "how this house look like before ah?" or "Eh, tell me the lobang where you get this leh?" Lastly for 3. those who are or will be renovating, hope we can share good lobangs.
Below are some photos we took when we first got the keys in late July.

Master from entrance

Photo is taken from entrance. We can see even from this photo that the laminate flooring is giving way. From reflection on the floor, the joints are pointing up and when we walk on it, it has that spongy hollow feeling under. So flooring have to go

This view is taken from the windows, showing the wardrobe. cabinet is sitting on d laminate. so if we take out laminate the cabinet also must go. hiaz... but the cabinet also not in very great condition.

Master Bathroom

Master toilet, can tell was expensively done with marble. But the color scheme is super dated & the bathtub is super clumsy. So we decided to redo the entire toilet.

Leading to Bedroom 1 & 2 Common WC & Kitchen
Click image to enlargeComing out from master is facing the common bath.
there are 5 doors here.
1. clockwise beside the intercom is the kitchen door [can't see from this photo]
2. common toilet
3. Room 1 [intended guest room]
4. Store room [ which you can see the door point towards the camera]
5. Room 2 [can see cos its a 180' turn, intended for princess's dresser room]
My first impression of this is so country.. while the black & dark green severely darkens the kitchen the furnitures are giving way as well. Leaving us no choice but to redo the tiles and cabinets.. $$$$$
Kitchen to service area
What further darken the kitchen is the aircon compressor, its behind the window, which you can hopefully see the black box above outside the service yard. Piangs, the previous owner must have last minute add on an aircon in the living & got nowhere to keep the compressor. Pardon the photo, but the bright light around the compressor & behind that opened maid's room door is open hole to the external without grills or window. So when it rains the floor will be wet & the main's room door is a bit damaged as well.
